When I think about it I have always had a passion right from a child with history when I started creating drawings with ladies in Victorian dresses and men in top hats.
In 2004 I became a committee member for the Waltham Abbey Genealogy Enthusiasts where I started getting deeply involved with my own research and started to help others. I’d spend many Saturday afternoons at the old Family Records Centre in London and Metropolitan Archives going through the microfiche to find peoples ancestors. My own research has taken me to many different record offices over the country which include Scotland and Wales and different parts of England.
I now do most of my research from home and I am working a few other current family history projects.
